William Schulz has devoted his life to playing guitar. Bill has been performing for over 40 years and teaching over 30 years. He studied Jazz theory under Lou Stein in New York and guitar under Chuck Anderson in Philadelphia. Bill teaches all styles including rock, folk, country, classical, and jazz – utilizing pick and/or fingerstyle. Bill’s specialty is Jazz Guitar in a solo setting – using bass lines, harmonies, and melody simultaneously. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the classic standards. Bill has prepared many high school students for college level jazz music studies. Of course he still enjoys teaching the beginning students as well as the advanced.
